  • Dr. Brent Warner, D.C., B.S. has been practicing chiropractic for 29 years since graduating from Western States Chiropractic College here in Portland, Oregon. He was head of the physical medicine department of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine for four years where he taught physical therapy, spinal and extremity  manipulation, and orthopedics. Dr. Warner specializes in Diversified Technique, Nerve Gliding - a means of freeing trapped nerves, Strain/Counter Strain and other muscle release techniques.

Dr. Warner does Endo-nasal Technique - a means of opening the eustacian tubes to assist with middle ear drainage. He also does Nasal Specifics - a means of releasing tension in cranial bones.  In addition Dr. Warner manipulates stomachs for hiatal hernia - a condition where the stomach has protruded into the diaphragm causing GERD (acid reflux) and other digestive problems.  Among his orthopedic specialties are included knee and rib manipulations; by understanding the subtle but important mechanics of the knee joint (the most complicated joint in the body). Dr. Warner has been able to bring much relief to people suffering with minor to moderate knee problems.

The same can be said for his understanding of how ribs move during breathing.  Again: ribs have a very complicated motion in that they are bound to the vertebrae at two locations along the rib. That means that both joints need to be evaluated not just one as is commonly taught.

Dr. Warner practices gentle chiropractic believing that introducing corrections into the body should be done with as little force as possible to assist with healing process.

  • Kendra Dale

    MAOM, LAc

Kendra is a licensed acupuncturist and board certified Chinese herbalist practicing Classical Chinese Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She first became interested in Chinese medicine in 1991 when she observed acupuncture treatments at a hospital in Shanghai while still in high school. Years
later in 2002, Kendra moved to China to study Chinese language and medicine and completed her studies in 2011, graduating with honors from the National College of Natural Medicine.

What Kendra most loves about Chinese medicine is the way it allows us to reconnect with natural rhythms and our own vital source to bring healing and restore balance. Kendra also loves reading ancient Chinese texts and finding that much of the wisdom recorded there is still relevant for us today. Most
of all, she love getting to share this wisdom with patients.

In the treatment room, Kendra focuses on the overall structure and landscape of the body, observing areas of tension and blockage, in order to find ways to release pain. She relies on traditional methods of pulse taking, tongue observation and channel palpation to arrive at a diagnosis. She specializes in
treating chronic pain of all kinds, especially lower back pain and shoulder pain. She also treats chronic disease conditions such as seasonal allergies, diabetes, fatigue, migraines, and neuromuscular conditions. She has trained with Heiner Fruehauf to treat autoimmune disease, Lyme disease and gu
    syndrome.

Methods of treatment she may use in a session include tuina/massage, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping or guasha. She may also prescribe a customized herbal formula and nutritional supplements.

When Kendra is not working in the clinic, she loves to go dancing and spend time outdoors with her husband and son.
